What's New on this Blog!

Hello all!
Please scroll down to see a couple photos from our conversation groups in San Pedro (San José) and Cañas (Guanacaste), as well as a short article about our program in the official Casa Presidencial bulletin. At the very bottom of the page, you'll find links to lots of new materials, including the great presentations that the Cultural Center Master Teachers created for our orientation sessions last month, as well as a contact sheet and tracking sheet for you to use at your conversation groups. I am working to find a way to make the download process simpler. Please let me know what you think of the materials!
Have a great weekend, everyone.

  1. Sto Domingo de Heredia is having awesome sessions, but in great need of more Volunteers. We have plenty of Partners, and we never turn one away. If anyone has an English speaking friend who loves to work and get such personal, warm feelings in return, contact James Overstreet, 2566-2067

  2. Here is an idea for one of your sessions. We are in our ninth week here in Sto Domingo de Heredia, and we thought to make an interesting session we are going to have a Photo Sharing Session. Everyone, both Volunteers and Partners are going to be bringing photos, the older the better. Photos are almost like a history lesson and how better to get to know someone. Besides, we all probably looked a lot better back then. This is a perfect opportunity for even the shiest of Partners to open up. I'll let you know how it went. James Overstreet
